Here are a few favourite Itonian words. Some of them are
not uniquely Itonian, but they're good words.
burple (BERR-pull) -The all-purpose
word, can use as a greeting
cepaceous (seh-PAY-shus) - Onionlike.
vermian (VER-me-ehn) -Wormlike.
millow (MIL-loh) - Greenish-purple.
brillow (BRIL-loh) - A ferret-skin
handbag marinated in tomato sauce.
SPOD (SPOHD) - DOPS backwards.
meh (MEH) - Non-communal reply.
whatchatoo (wot-cha-TOO) - Extreme
hyperness.
briddy freet (brid-dee FREET) - Crazy.
zimbob (ZIM-bob) - Trip wire that
has an elastic quality.
salate (SAL-at) - Troll salad made
from a combination of rock types, usually with slate taking the place of lettuce
in 'normal' salads.
fosse (FOSS-ee) - That nice furry
sensation your fingertips experience when touching bread mould (usually before
you realise what you're touching).
thaede (THAY-d) - The sort of shade
that has a 40 degree heat.
brytt (BRIT) - A person of British
origin who has a deep seated dislike of the vowel 'i'
kcehcnigolednah (han-del-LOG-in-chek)
- An expression for the mess that results when you translate a piece of text
into six different languages one after the other.
promissory estoppel (pro-MISS-or-ee ess-STOP-pull)
- 1. Some law-related thing. 2. A variety of baked confectionary, often a type
of pastry filled with some sort of fruit with raisins and pink icing on top.
cha (CHAH) - General-purpose end-of-sentence
word. Similar meaning to "kewl", "sweet" and "okay".
gundam (gun-DAM) - Curse-word.
